Now an affordable solution to solve the dropped call and no signal problem in your home. The CAE50 packages are easy to install and will increase your signal strength 1000%. The expected area of coverage is 250 square meters.

At the heart of this repeater is a 50 dB gain bi-directional amplifier increasing the signal strength. We supply an external aerial (Yagi and Panel). The aerial comes with 10m of low loss cable complete with the connectors already attached. You install the aerial outside on the wall or on a roof edge. Run the supplied 10m special low loss cabling to the inside of the home, ceiling or attic, and mount the amplifier at a central location. The amplifier installs vertically with the hardware supplied. It has 2 indicators, one for 'Power On' and one for "Fail". The 'Fail' light comes on if the exterior aerial and the interior aerials are too close to each other, in which case feedback will occur. (easy to adjust by moving the aerials or unit). There is a interior panel aerial provided that attaches to the amplifier for the indoor coverage. Power up the amplifier using the supplied 5V power adapter. For low signal areas, you can purchase the optional Higher Gain Yagi aerial for mobile phone communication. We do not recommend this unit for more than 10 mobile phone users or larger coverage areas. If that is the case then you need one of our other more powerful repeater systems. Please contact us for more information.

Typical Installation Instructions
1. Install External aerial
2. Install Amplifier inside at convenient location on a wall. Attach Panel Aerial on the 'Mobile' side of the amplifier.Make sure 120V available to connect power transformer (do not power up)
3. Run cable from external aerial to the 'Base' connector on the Amplifier
4. Check all cables and power up amplifier.
5. Rotate Yagi/Panel aerial for best signal inside.

NOTE: The system can handle 10 mobile phones in call at the same time. Also, our estimated signal strength outside your home at roof level must be 3 bars or greater on your mobile phone (-75dBm). I don't know which system my mobile phone carrier is on, 900 or 1800. Can you help?

My mobile phone company operates on both the 900 and 1800 systems. Which CAE50 package should I get?
In most cases in Europe, 900 MHz systems are the primary when a carrier is on both. However in some countries like the Netherlands, the 1800 system can be the primary. Use 900 when you know the carrier is on both, and when in doubt, email us...unless you want to buy both ;)

Do I need to know where the mobile tower using this system?
No. With the Yagi exterior aerial, all you have to do is rotate it on the pole until the signal strength is at a maximum inside the building.

Do I need to connect my mobile phone directly to the repeater with a cable or adapter?
No. The system is completely wireless.

I can make a call outside my home, but can't inside. Will the CAE50 help?
Our building repeater systems are designed especially for this situation.
