We have come up with a Dual Band system that allows the combination of both GSM900 and DCS1800 with one set of aerials and cabling. This system is ideal for smaller applications such as offices, homes, and small factories or warehouses.

All CAE700 Packages come with all you need to get the system working.

Instructions

CAE700 system with one internal antenna can handle up to 800 square meters of area on 1 floor. CAE700-2 system with two indoor antennas can handle two floors, area up to 1,500 square meters.CAE700-3 system, three indoor antennas can cover three floors up to 1,700 square meters area.

The System connects together as follows:

Typical Installation Instructions
1. Install DualBand Fiberglas Aerial on pole or wall located on roof.
2. Install Amplifier inside at convenient location. Make sure 220V available to connect power transformer (do not power up).
3. Install Dual Band Coupler to amplifier BASE ports with supplied adapters. Make sure Coupler is vertical by placing one amplifier on top of the other. Install 2nd dual band coupler in same fashion to MOBILE ports.
4. Connect supplied Lightning protector (optional) to single port of Dual Band coupler. (This goes to outdoor aerial)
5. Run the 15 meters LMR400 cable from Outdoor Aerial to Lightning Protector (optional)
5. Locate the Internal Aerial install on ceiling (or wall)
6. Connect 15 meters LMR400 cable from single port of Dual Band Coupler to Indoor Aerial
6. Check all cables and power up amplifiers
7. Check Indicator lights to make sure each amplifier is functioning.

PLEASE NOTE: THE AREA CLAIMED IN THIS SYSTEM DEPENDS ON HAVING A MINIMUM OF 3 OUT OF 5 BARS OF SIGNAL LEVEL (-75dBm) AT THE EXTERIOR AERIAL. THE STATED AREA WILL BECOME SMALLER IF THE SIGNAL LEVEL IS LESS THAN THIS. CA-MAST
Universal J-Pipe mount
used for mounting our roof mount Yagi and Panel aerials. Can also be used to integrate with our repeater systems.
This mount is designed to fit on the side of a house. Either end of the mast can be attached to the base, depending on how much clearance is required for the aerial.

There are laws that govern the use of these products in various countries. We suggest referring to the governmental organization having jurisdiction. All CAE50 and CAE500 repeater products are offered in Europe through CellAntenna Corporation USA with shipping based on local charges.

FAQ:

Do I need to know where the mobile tower is to point the aerial?
There is no need to know this information. The exterior aerial supplied with this system is OMNI directional which means that it 'sees' all signals 360 degrees. It does have to be clear of any obstructions so mount it as high as possible above the roof level.

Do I need to connect my mobile phone directly to the repeater?
No. The system is completely wireless.

I can make a call outside my home, but can't inside. Will the CAE-700 help?
Our building repeater systems are designed especially for this situation. However the signal level outside should be at least 3 out of 5 bars to insure that the area of coverage will be as we claim.

Why can't I combine both Cellular and Nextel together in one system?
Cellular and Nextel overlap in their signal spectrum such that the uplink of one is closely located to the same frequency as the downlink of the other. Combining these 2 amplifiers in one system will result in feedback similar to placing a microphone to close to the speakers....
